Ivy, Steel and Glass - A House Blending In with the Environment

The architects from Zanon Architetti Associati succeeded brilliantly in transforming a rural house located in Treviso, Italy.

The house was given a new life by the restoration of the interior and especially by expanding the common area with the help of a steel and glass structure.

The living area is visually connected with the environment. Seen from the outside, the house seems part of the scenery; nature is reflected by the glass of the new structure, whereas the older construction is clothed in a romantic green ivy curtain.

On the inside, the space is airy and bright; the rustic blends in with the modern. The accessories and furniture give the rooms individuality, whereas the wood and the on sight beams warm up the atmosphere.
