The architects from Yukiharu Suzuki & Associates created an amazing house which looks like a barn, a comfortable dwelling, where one could either enjoy working or simply retreat and escape from the daily routine.
Placed on a hill, the house has some incredible views facing the green hills and the sea. The glass walls are covered in wooden panels, and the sunrays are filtered through these, making the interior look like the stage of an interesting show of light and shade.
The interior is organized in minimalist open spaces. The ever-present wood covers the floor and the walls by panelling, but what truly stands out are the wooden beams, a real on sight 'skeleton' of the house.
Different areas of the dwelling that need more privacy are created by dividing the space with Japanese shoji screens.
